Don’t pour money down the drain

A prolonged leaky faucet or toilet can result in unnecessary expenses not only for you, but for everyone in the building. If you hear continuous water running in the walls or in pipes that’s been occurring for several days, report it to the Resident Manager. Inform the RM where you heard the water, the time you’ve been hearing it, and for how many days it’s been happening. The more information you provide, the easier it is for the RM to pinpoint the origin and take the appropriate action.

Also, immediately report any dripping noises you hear at night. This could be caused by a damaged pipe, deteriorating toilet wax ring, leaking shower pan, etc. Doing so will prevent further damage to the building and help keep maintenance fees down.
